A small tree to 10 metres tall, with clusters of red, pink, purple or cream flowers that are loved by birds and other nectar eaters. Flowers in late winter to spring. Can be single trunked or multi-stemmed with smooth grey or cream bark. Can be used in coastal cool to temperate areas. Best in full sun, on alkaline soils.
