Banksia hookeriana - Hooker's banksia

Banksia hookeriana

A wonderful choice for the garden, this Banksia grows to a medium shrub and is ideal for producing cut flowers.
Hooker’s Banksia needs very well drained soil, but is tolerant of light frost and drought once established. Works well as a low windbreak in the garden. Banksias are phosphorus sensitive, so a good native fertiliser is best when it comes to feeding time.
