A striking new Eucalyptus with dark red foliage, making it a useful medium sized tree for landscape use in cool to temperate areas. Growing from 6 to 8 metres tall and 3 to 4 metres wide, it also responds well to pruning, so can be kept to the desired height. The foliage can also be used for cut flower work. The stems are nearly black, and the trunk is smooth grey bark. Drought and frost tolerant. Prefers a sunny spot in well drained soil. Unsuitable for tropical and sub tropical areas.
