A great collection of hardy and easy care ground cover plants….4 different varieties, 8 tubes in total of the following plants-
Westringia Bulli ‘Coastal Carpet’ – A naturally dense growing and compact ground cover low shrub with grey-green foliage. It bears small white flowers in spring and with a further sprinkling throughout the year. A very easy care ground cover suitable for seaside and general garden plantings, about the only care needed is a yearly feed and a light trim if needed. Likes full sun to semi-shade, well drained soil. Drought and coastal tolerant. Grows to a height of around 20 centimetres and a metre wide.
Thryptomene saxicola – a beautiful and hardy small shrub with masses of dainty pink flowers in late winter to spring, which make great cut flowers.
Brachyscome ‘Valencia’ – A low growing perennial groundcover with a profusion of pale pink daisy flowers with yellow centres throughout most of the year. Grows in well drained soils in full sun or part shade. Good for borders, massed plantings and containers.
Kunzea badjaensis ‘Badja Carpet’ – A hardy and easy care mounded ground covering to prostrate shrub that comes alive in early summer with masses of fluffy white flowers. It has a spread of up to 4 metres, with a height of 30cms to 1 metre. The dark green leaves are small and aromatic when crushed, new stems are an attractive dark red. A very adaptable plant for a wide range of conditions, rarely troubled by pests. Very frost tolerant. Can grow in sun to part shade, growth is quicker in sunny positions.
Plants are grown in tubes 50mm square, 120mm deep, and are grown on outdoor benches to be sun, wind and frost hardy and ready to plant straight to your garden or bigger pots
