The bright, burnt orange flowers that are produced for most of the year will create a ‘wow factor’ in your garden. Lechenaultias tend to be short-lived perennials in the garden, and are probably best used as pot plants, or for spot planting to brighten up a rockery, although if they find a spot that suits them, they can become a fixture in a garden bed. Give the plant a light trim after each heavy flush of flowers and a small handful of native plant food and water in well to stimulate new flowering growth.
