A dense upright large shrub to small tree, with attractive golden foliage which is more intense in sunnier positions. It can be used as a colour contrasted screening shrub, windbreak or as a feature specimen in gardens and parklands. It responds well to pruning to encourage a more dense habit, as it can develop an open growth habit if left unpruned. Small white flowers in summer. Suits most soil types and positions, drought and frost tolerant.
