  Adenanthos pungens 'Coral Cover'

A low growing form of Adenanthos, Coral Cover is a densely ground covering plant with pale to bright pink flowers on the ends of the branches. It is attractive to birds and insects, and the needle-like nature of the leaves gives some shelter to wildlife. Likes a full sun to part shade spot, and suits most soil types as long as they are well drained. A low maintenance plant once established, it is frost tolerant and good for coastal areas. Mulch to deter weed growth while young, and to conserve soil moisture. Feed with a good low phosphorus native fertiliser in spring.
