Acacia triptera (meaning three wings) is a hardy species, putting on an impressive display of soft, golden yellow flowers in the spring. A graceful looking shrub, it has stiff bluish-grey phyllodes that are quite ornamental.
It must be watered until it is established, but thereafter it is fairly hardy to dry and wet periods. It can have an upright habit, or grow low and spreading. Needs very well drained soil.
