Cymbidium suave - snake orchid

Cymbidium suave – Snake orchid

An epiphytic orchid with pendulous, highly fragrant flowers. It can produce hundreds of flowers when well grown. It naturally grows in the hollows of trees in moist temperate to sub-tropical areas. The lack of pseudo-bulbs mean that it dislikes disturbance once established. Best grown in a hollow log in decomposing eucalyptus heartwood.
