An attractive upright fast growing shrub to around 2.5m tall.The dark foliage is a feature year round, but the the plant really comes alive in spring with an eye catching flush of dark pink to red flowers.The flowers are attractive to native bees and predatory wasps.Well suited to informal hedges, screens and fence lines.Adapts well to a variety of soils, grows best in moist to well drained heavier soils. Salt, wind and drought tolerant.
