Anigozanthos ‘Landscape Lilac’ – a perennial kangaroo paw from the Tall and Tough range, it has pale lilac coloured velvety paw shaped flowers in spring and summer which age to pale green. It suits most soils and can be grown in sun to part shade. The flowers attract birds to the garden to feed, and make long lasting cut flowers. It is a fast grower, it needs some feeding and watering through the warm months to perform at its best. The Tall and Tough paws handle humidity, heavy soils and waterlogging.

Baloskion tetraphyllus, the tassel cord rush forms a soft clump of foliage from 0.5 to 1.5 metres high, with decorative feathery flowering spikes in spring and summer which can be used for cut flowers or left on the plant. Hardy in frost and even snow! It grows from an underground rhizome, very happy to grow next to watercourses and boggy areas, sunny to shaded positions.

Xerochrysum ‘Linda’s Pink’ – A lovely pink form of  Xerochrysum papillosum which normally has all white flowers and naturally grows in southern Victoria and Tasmania. A hardy and adaptable perennial plant and makes a wonderful garden plant. It will flower from late spring through to summer, with peak flowering in spring- cut back old flowers to encourage a new flush.
