Corymbia ficifolia – Western Australian Flowering Gum One of the best gum trees for producing spectacular flowering. We have selected a very special compact red-orange form for our seed source so the trees derived will be brightly coloured and will grow to around 5 metres in height and several metres wide. When in bloom it is a magnet for small and large nectar loving wildlife. It is best in the southern states as high humidity can be a problem for them. It may be planted as an eye-catching specimen in a paved courtyard, an informal screen against wall or fence line, or as a medium-sized hedge. The dark foliage adds interest all year round, and acts as a great contrast plant in gardens and landscaping.

Eucalyptus macrandra – Long-flowered Marlock Wonderful displays of profuse lemon-coloured flowers with elongated buds on a small tree with interesting smooth bark are the ornamental features of this very useful eucalypt. Plant as a street or feature tree where its stunning flowering displays can be fully enjoyed. It is virtually maintenance free. Needs good drainage, free from frost, and a dry climate.

Eucalyptus albopurpurea (synonym Eucalyptus landsdowneana) Crimson Mallee Box A small tree to 10 metres tall, with clusters of pinky-purple flowers that are loved by birds and other nectar feeders. Flowers in late winter to spring. Can be single trunked or multi-stemmed with smooth grey or cream bark. Can be used in coastal cool to temperate areas. Best in full sun, on neutral to alkaline soils.

Eucalyptus nutans Red-flowered Moort Gum – A beautiful small tree to large shrub from the south coast of WA, it is suited to most soils including heavy clay. A stunning feature gum that is a wildlife magnet for nectar feeding birds and colourful insects. It is reasonably frost hardy but does not like excessive humidity. Best suited to the southern states of Australia.

Plants are grown in tubes 50mm square, 120mm deep, and are grown on outdoor benches to be sun, wind and frost hardy and ready to plant straight to your garden or bigger pots
