Melaleuca virens – a lovely Tasmanian variety, it is a small to medium very adaptable shrub with lime green flowers in spring. The common name of ‘prickly bottlebrush’ means that this little beauty will provide good habitat for smaller birds. Grows from .5 to 1.5 metres high.

Melaleuca spathulata – this little beauty is a showy shrub from Western Australia, growing to around 1.5 metres high and wide, it gets covered with bright mauve pom poms from mid spring to mid summer. It has proved to be an adaptable plant to different soil types and frost tolerant.

Melaleuca lateritia – Robin red breast bush – grows from 1-2 metres with striking orange-red brush flowers in summer, and spot flowering in autumn and winter. Another hardy and adaptable plant

Melaleuca pallida – also known as the lemon bottlebrush. It grows to around 3-5 metres tall with lovely papery bark and grey-green foliage, it flowers mid spring to the end of summer with masses of creamy yellow flowers that attract insects and birds to feed. A very hardy and adaptable plant.

Plants are grown in tubes 50mm square, 120mm deep, and are grown on outdoor benches to be sun, wind and frost hardy and ready to plant straight to your garden or bigger pots
