A collection of 3 different Western Australian everlasting daisies, perfect to create your own wildflower meadow,  habitat gardens for butterflies and bees and other insects, for picking for fresh or dried flowers. And good in pots and hanging baskets!

Schoenia filifolia, showy everlasting -An attractive annual with fine bright green green leaves and many upright stems to between 30 and 40 cm high. Bright golden-yellow flowers with surrounding bracts that are papery and dry well for flower arrangements and other uses. 50 seeds per pack approximately.

Schoenia cassiniana, pink cluster everlasting – An annual plant, it has furry leaves and stems and clusters of flowers with yellow centres surrounded by pink papery bracts in late winter, spring through to summer (depending on the time that seed is sown). 40 seeds per pack approximately.

Rhodanthe chlorocephela, everlasting daisy – this annual everlasting daisy has flowers which range from pure white to deep pink, with contrasting bright yellow or deep black centres. Each stem is topped with a flower, and pinching out will encourage more stems and thus flowers. Grows and flowers best in sandy open soil in sun to part shade. Cut back old flowers and they plant will reshoot and flower again. 300 seeds per pack approximately.

SEED SOWING – Seed germination is in one to three weeks. If growing in the garden, sprinkle direct where they are to grow and gently rake so that seeds are barely covered or sit on the surface, and keep moist. Alternately plant in pots using the same method.

Drying everlasting daisy flowers Pick flowers to be dried in the morning or during the day and hang upside down in an airy place until dry. Pick flowers while in bud.
